Can you use a gift card at restaurants?

We are going to WDW with my Sister and her family.
During that time, I am going to watch their daughter while they go out for some couple time. I would like to get them a gift card to use at Epcot(maybe LeCellier). If I purchase one from Disney shopping online, can they use it at WDW restaurants?

I'm pretty sure they can be... someone want to second me so i know i'm right??? LOL we are planning to buy disney gift cards for our selfs to use for Dinning since we won't have the dinning plan this time.

we had a gift card a year ago and used it for Le Cellier.....it was a gift given to us from Disney....

If you are in doubt you could always call Disney direct and ask them...I would call just to make sure they still accept them......
