I purchased Universal/IOA tickets when they had the buy 1 adult and get child free special a month or so ago. Now I find out that I can get the HRH for $100.00 per night cheaper if I have an AP, plus all the other perks. Is it possible to upgrade one of those adult tickets to an AP so I can get the discount? If so, I have to go to the Kiosk to get tickets and can you do the upgrade there or do you upgrade it somewhere else, like guest relations. Also, would I have to have the AP before I check in to HRH. Thanks
We had length of stay passes which we upgraded to AP's. We had to do this through guest relations. I don't think you can do it through the kiosks since you need to have a photo taken for your pass. When you are at GR, ask if there are any specials on APs. When we got ours, they had a two year for the price of one deal going on if you had a certificate from Burger King. The GR lady was kind enough to give us the two year deal without going to BK for the certificate--she'd had picked one up on her way to work for just such and occasion! So far, we have gone to the parks 20-25 times on our passes. Hopefully we will get another trip in before we expire in August.
