Can you upgrade FD offer?

I'm planning ahead for a Sept. 2011 vacation, I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to stay at a moderate resort, under the free dining special, and upgrade to the deluxe dining plan by paying the difference between the dining plan & the deluxe dining plan?

I asked the Cm last nite how much it would cost to upgrade and I think she still has me on HOLD!

If F/D is available next year, you should be able to upgrade.
