Can you upgrade 10 day WDW World Ticket to AP

Does anyone know if this is possible.

Also, can the 3 day Universal tickets be upgraded to annual passes?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Julie,

I am sure you can. If I am not mistaken I think Sian (holycow) did this on one of her trips.
You only get what you paid for them against the price of the AP, they tell you how much they will give you. We were going to upgrade our hoppers, but decided against it and just bought PAP's outright.

Hiya. I read in one of the trip reports (allie5 I think... apologies if wrong) that she tried to upgrade 10 day world pass to ap's but could not! I think the difference is that the hoppers are not time sensitive, but the 1o day w/p is only available in the uk and expires after the 10 day period...good luck. Mike

I know a lot of people have been told this is not possible by CMs but believe me it is as I upgraded 3 x 10 day world passes to Premium Annual Passes last December. I asked at Downtown Disney guest services and was told that it was unlikely to possible because of the limited time/geographical availability of the tickets. They said any form of special offer ticket cannot be upgraded. However, the very nice CMs decided to give it a whirl, scanned the code on the pass into the till and it came up with a credit amount (can't remember what) which I was able to offset against the PAPs. They were very surprised that it worked so if you are told it is not possible ask them to see if their system recognises the ticket and gives credit for it. I should say that I had not used the passes but I don't think that should make a difference. Good luck.

I have just found out that I have won a holiday to Florida next year, two weeks after paying for 10 day world tickets, so if we could upgrade them that would be brilliant.
