Can you "Treat" friends with the dining plan?

I'm sure its not set up for this but was wondering if we can pick up dinner for our friends while at WDW with the DP points? We have 4 in a studio for 5 days (20 Counter and 20 TS). If we meet them for dinner (4 of them also), can we use 8 TS points right then?

Yep. Additionally some people like to spread a little Pixie Dust before they leave -- if they know they have some unused credits they'll pick up the "charge" for a strangers meal.
