Can you transfer Southwest Miles?

Our home Airport in ( JAN ) Jackson,MS will no longer fly southwest after June or July of this year. We have a December Disney trip planned and I have enough points to get one round trip flight free. What can I do???? I am not a happy camper about this!!

You could transfer them to a hotel program. Marriott, Hyatt are included with Southwest. They are not part of an airline alliance so there's no other airline to use them for.

I was hoping it could some how be transferred to another airline. Oh well, we will transfer for a hotel stay.

The only airline SWA points can be transfer to is AirTran airlines.

If you have that many miles, it will probably pay to drive to New Orleans to get the flight.
PITA, but sometimes even a PITA may be worth it as a one-time thing.
