Can you tell me about the lunch at DC?

Was just wondering if anyone could share their lunch experience at Discovery Cove? What kind of food? Is it a Buffet? Do they have stuff kids like? etc. Is the drink included with lunch or additional? Can you eat whatever time you like or is it assigned?

I went 3 years ago,

Here's what I said back then,
"It's served cafeteria style, you get a tray and slide it picking up your food along the way. They have many choice to choose from. Chicken pasta, Salmon, chicken fingers, fajitas and a few others. The food is hot, fresh, and tastes great. You also get a salad, desert, and soft drink with your meal. At the end of the line, a girl swipes your id badge and that's how you pay, its included in your visit."

The time you eat is not assigned, I think it's from 11am to 2pm. The crowd goes at noon, so you go early or late. Here's my TR from 3 years ago.

Hi there,

We spent Christmas Day 2003 at DC and the menu was as described in the previous post. The resturaunt was clean and the food was plentiful and hot. Soft drinks were included in the overall cost of the day but alcoholic drinks were extra.

We had a brilliant, unforgettable Christmas - my only problem now is how to beat that for 2004!!

I had the salmon, and DD had the fajitas. We split them both. The entrees and the desserts were all wonderful.

We did buy frozen drinks later in the afternoon. It was chilly out, but we enjoyed them anyway!
