This year we are going to be there during November 13 &14th which are the last days of the Food and Wine Festival. We have never been there during this time.

Can you tell me about it?

Is it something that I should make a reservation for? Is it worth it?

Thank you for your time!!!!!

I've never been but here's a link to the DIS infomation: 2004 Food & Wine Festival News

Happy Planning!

We have been to the F&WF a few times and I can tell you the very next time we are able to make it we will be there. I would tell any one not to miss it!!::yes::

You'll be there over a Saturday. If you are interested in trying a lot of different foods & wines and have about $90 (per person) to spare, sign up for the Party for the Senses, which is usually scheduled on Saturday nights in the former Millenium Showcase (these events are open to about 300 people at a time). It's a little bit like going to the food booths that are placed all over the World Showcase, only it's prepaid and you can taste as much as you like. The offerings are different from what you'll get outside in the showcase. You'll get a wine glass to take home.

Best suggestion I can make about the party is to run in and get yourself a seat at a table before you do anything else - they don't have enough tables for everybody, you can't reserve a table and it's easier to save a table than it is to stand. You may have to share the table with other partygoers.

This would require a reservation. Last year they began taking reservations in July.

If you don't want to spend for the party, you can just buy tastes at the booths in the World Showcase and attend free seminars that provide a taste of food or wine.

On the last weekend, though, they seemed to be running out of stuff.

We went to the 2003 Food & Wine Festival and absolutely loved it. Didn't do any of the ticketed events, just wandered from country to country, eating and drinking. It will definitely be a yearly event for us!
