DH grew up going camping, and now that DS is getting old enough to go, DH bought a tent and camping equipment and wants to start sharing this love with DS.
I am not a camper. I am allergic to just about everything, I am accustomed to air conditioning, I'm deathly afraid of snakes, and the thought of sleeping in a tent that I can't lock up just makes me anxious. DH said he understands and didn't mind if I didn't camp with them.
Well, DH asked me today to see if I could reserve him a campsite at Ft. Wilderness. I reserved a site in April, and I included my name on the reservation "just in case" I wanted to go. When I told DH and DS that, they were both very excited that I was going to go with them, like it was a done deal.
Now I feel like I should go because they really want me to.
I have stayed in the cabins at Ft. Wilderness before, and really enjoyed it. But I need a pep talk about really camping! Can you tell me all the great things you love about it?

Oh a quick cold breakfast, okay, but lunch and dinner should not be a bologna sandwich back at the tent.
Really the worst thing I can possibly think of is the hard ground and sleeping in a sleeping bag...everything else is easy...no worries...have a great time! Janet
