Can you take Shorthand?

LOL Sandy, my sister is 6 years older than me and as soon as I took my first year of Shorthand in High School, she always wrote to me in it so I could practice! It was fun! :)
Yup, it was fun. I forgot which version of Gregg it was that I learned in high school. I didn't go to Gibbs until 6 years after HS graduation. By that time they had revised to Series 90. I thought that version stunk. But I was still able to figure out what my sister was saying. LOL!

I think I write better doing it on a keyboard and revising as I type.
I can definitely type faster than I can write. I had a few times where a boss would be on the road and call in dictating something over the phone. I always typed it rather than wrote it because my finger flew over the keyboard much faster.

Yes, I have.. see but they didn't teach Gregg when I was in high school.. it was speedwriting..

Same thing, but no symbols. I ACED the class, and still do it occassionally... Can't find a secretary Snoops, sorry to hear that.. it would be a heck of a commute for me.

I've used dictaphones as well, but with laptops its a dying breed as well.

I used to be really GOOD at shorthand! I took all business classes in high school, and then went to MOSER business school on an Excels Scholarship...it was a 6 month program condensed into 6 weeks. I still know the typing (I used to do home typing for 12 years, but from a dictaphone)...but the shorthand?? Hmmmm...I kinda wonder if I could pick it up again!
