Sorry guys - probably a silly question but I hoping someone will know.

I want to give a friend a gift to take back to Portugal and was planning to get her some Christmas foodie stuff from M&S but just want to make sure she'll be allowed to take it into the country.

My guess is 'Yes' but I don't want to cause her hassle (or waste my money!)

Thanks

We have taken food across to Europe without any problem.

All my clients stock up on british food when travelling to europe on the ferries etc, so no probs at all!! They used to destroy meat products (when foot and mouth was a problem) but not any more
HTH

Thank you! Off I'll go to M&S tonight (may have to buy a few bits for us too whilst I'm there!)
