Hi,
I'm sure I've read somewhere that you are not allowed armbands or floaties in the disney pools and waterparks but I'm not 100% sure.
We are staying at AKL and our son will be 13 months so will prob have armbands or a rubber ring/float, will I be allowed to take these in the pool?
Also what are the rules on this for TL and BB/
Thanks in advance :goodvibes

I've seen plenty of floaties in resort pools but I think there are some parts of the water parks that you can't take them.

Don't know about the water parks, but you can definitely use them in hotel pools. We stayed in SSR last year and we bought a couple of noodles in Walgreens and used them in the pools there without a problem. We saw plenty of other armbands, rubber rings etc too.

At disney hotels they have little life vests kids can use for free. Same at the waterparks - think you pay a deposit to use.

There was a thread a month or two ago and someone posted a pic of their baby in one of those inflable seats and that was fine aswell.

Hi

We used a floating type device we got from Walgreens for our DS when he was 9 month old, it was fantastic and not expensive, it was like a rubber ring but the ring bit was like a net so he was actually in the water and not on top of it trying to struggle out to get into water he simply put his legs through 2 leg holes, I've never seen them over here but it was the best thing we ever had, we also used this at the water parks to go down the lazy rivers. Now when in the hotel pools we just use our normal armbands but when we go to the water parks we use the Disney life jackets as they are more convenient and he wears it all day, he is 2 now but was 20 month old last time we were there.

weve used lifevests armbands float seats and swim rings at some point so youll be fine xx

They have the little life vests at the poolside to use free of charge but when we went and our son was 15 months (and he's never been small) he was too small for the smallest one. We bought Nemo armbands at the hotel store last year, they were cheap and fab and he is still using them nearly a year on.
