Can you take a look at our double jogging stroller?

We leave in 5 days and cannot decide which stroller to take! We have a tandem but when you have almost 65lbs between two kiddos it can wear ya out pushing it all day. So we really want to take our double jogging stroller but I am afraid it is too big for Disney!
The stroller is about 32 in wide so almost 3ft! I am mostly concerned about doorways and being able to shop in Epcot and DTD.
Thank you for you help! We are first timers and just trying to make the trip the most enjoyable it can be!

thanks!

We have the INSTEP double jogger, and we took it on our last trip. It is a bit bulky on the buses, but in the parks it was GREAT. You can push it with one finger vs. both hands struggling to keep our Graco on the straight and narrow. I take mine everywhere I go!!!

We used a baby trends double wide jogger, from babies r us, for several years at Disney. It worked just fine. The worst part was making tight turns with it. You know, you have to lift the front wheel off the ground, since it doesn't pivot like a stroller's front wheels do. Other than that, there were maybe 2 doorways that we had a little trouble getting through. We used our own transportation, so we didn't have to fold up for bus transportation. Hope this helps, make it easy on yourself, take the double wide, afterall, disney rents double wide "plastic" strollers in the parks.:thumbsup2

Are you going to be using the bus? You have to fold the stroller, and carry it onto the bus. It might be difficult.

We didn't go to DTD, but those Epcot stores were tight even for our single stroller.

Would you be open to buying a new stroller, like a lightweight double umbrella?

If you want to look for a new one (you might find one on sale or used and resell when you return...or save it for your next trip!), try posting here (many knowlegeable, helpful stroller people)..

Another thought...if you have two adults, could you take two singles?

We've been taking our double jogger. It's the best stroller for the trip. My first is very large for his age and our second is tiny for his age, which is why we used it the first time. My third is of average size for his age, but it still gives my oldest a break from walking when needed. Somebody needs a free hand once in awhile and while one of us is taking our older, taller child on a ride, the other can take the littler one(s) elsewhere--especially on our 2005 trip where I was pregnant & couldn't do those rides anyhow.

It provided plenty of storage (a must for one in diapers). It was exteremly comfortable--the seats recline seperately. It was easy to manuever--no wider than the MK rentals; the only place it was a tight fit (but did fit!) was through the MK turnstiles. Everywhere else was as easy as pie whether it had one child or two. I loved being able to have a stroller outside the parks (DTD, The resorts, off Disney). We were able to wheel it on the fairy & the monorail (handicap car), provided no one was using it first!! It even fit with just a roll on on the Wilderness Lodge fairy boat to MK with no problem. We generally have a car, but do take the buses too. Not much of a problem there either--just be prepared before the bus shows up. Most drivers will let you enter through the handicap spot, only encountered one that didn't.

When picking a stroller, I tend to go for the overall experience. Time spent on buses, even for a family without a car. I wouldn't let 30 minutes override the other 23 1/2 hours!!

Things to note about our stroller though--we have a swivel wheel option, our front wheel is under the footrest, & it folds fairly flat (do have to remember to lock the wheel so it doesn't move before folding though).
