We are getting all ready for next week is our first trip. My Ds 2 loves his gatorade we are bring bottle water for the rest of family was wondering if Gatorade is aloud to be brought in? Thanks

Not only can you take the gatorade in, but your own bottled water, bottled sodas, etc. As PP said, just no glass containers.

You can pretty much bring in anything as long as it's not in a glass container and not alcoholic. This includes beverages and foods.

From DL.com:

-What items are not permitted within Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park?:

-Coolers larger than 6-pack sized are not permitted into the theme parks.

-Glass containers, with the exception of baby food containers, medicine or small perfume bottles (under 4 oz)

...other than that...pack away!

Also from DL.com

"Can I bring food into Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park?
If you wish to bring your own food and enjoy an outdoor meal in an ideal setting, there is a complimentary Picnic Area conveniently located outside the Main Entrance to Disneyland Park.

With the exception of food items for Guests with specific dietary restrictions, food or beverage items are not permitted into either of the Disneyland Resort theme parks
."

I wouldn't let this and the other information from disneyland.com deter you. As long as the cooler is acceptable and no glass there are barely any reports of problems with people bringing food in. It seems the security checkpoint CM's are quite tolerable.

So this last trip my husband was on one of those scooter chairs, he had a little basket in the front which meant we wouldn't have to haul anything in on our backs so he loaded up our Trader Joe's reusable shopping bag with about 4 plastic bottles of water, 3 plastic soda bottles, 10 bags of chips/kettle corn, 5 granola bars, his leftover sandwich and some chocolate bars. I thought he was really pushing it. We got to the security check and all that was said was 'okay just snacks in here', DH said yes and we were off to the entrance.

I remember 9 years ago we carefully hid a water bottle in the bottom of our diaper bag and thought we really got away with sneaking in some water....LOL, oh my how things have changed.

You are totally fine bringing in snacks/drinks

Just throwing my answer onto the pile!

I love my Gatorade, too. I always enter the parks drinking either G2 or water and no one has ever said anything.
