Can you switch from WL to POR?

I am wondering if we book WL and then decide to go down to POR if this is possible. I assume it is and the only reason that I am asking is because we are still deciding between the 2. I want to book WL now, just in case, due to I heard that it books up so early for DEC. Has anyone ever book a deluxe and then went to a moderate? Was it a problem? Once again I assume that it is not, I just want to double check.

No problem switching. I've done this a couple of times. No charges unless you are changing 45 days or sooner before your trip.

Yes you can do that.

I have the opposite problem though:
I always start out saying "this is a budget trip" and make reservations at Pop. But somehow I always end up changing it to AKL ro Poly

I was ready to tell to book NOW! if you're going this month then I saw your ticker. Am I relieved!

If you think you want WL, I'd book it then start saving and watching the rates. As long as it's before the cancellation policy kicks in, you can change with no penalty.

The cancellation fee for room only is 5 days from time of arrival, it's only a package that has the 45 day change/cancellation fee.
