Can anyone tell me about the weather at VB in Sept? We like to travel when there are less crowds, but I wondered if we could still swim in the ocean and pools in early September? I am assuming yes. Is this a good time of year to go? Is it hard to book? We own at OKW. Thanks! :sunny:

We were there in Sept of last year and I can't think of a better time to go.

The crowds are so low, the pool is warm and the beaches were almost deserted!

The only chance you take is hurrican season.

We absolutely loved Vero in Sept and would highly recommend travelling then.

We went to OKW in September and it was great. The weather is nice and a bit humid (especially for those from the west coast), but not as bad as the summer. Our only "problem"... we tried to take the water taxi three days in a row, but it rained (HARD). Finally on the 4th day, we got to go :thumbsup2 ! Thanks to hurricane Rita, we had humid, weather with a bit of rain. So, that's really the only thing you might have to contend with -- hurricanes.

Thanks everyone. The hurricanes always make me nervous, but we sure love WDW in Sept. and take the chance! This past Sept. we went to OKW for our first trip "home" and it was just perfect!

It will be plenty warm! Still summer in September down in Florida. In fact, the ocean temps might be too warm to cool off.
