Can you still use a child's AP to the get the AP rate?

I don't think that you can. If it is any different, I'd appreciate knowing, since we are buying one AP so that we can get the discount on our March trip.

By the way knation5, I used to live near Paris, TN...Huntingdon. Do you know where that is? I remember getting out of school for the fish fry in Paris. (I know all you northerners are getting a big laugh out of that)

Thanks! When we went a couple of years ago we used our child's AP to get the room discount. BUT I want to double check we still can before we buy our tickets this time.

That's FUNNY! My husband used to preach at two churches near Huntingdon and we have several friends there! We just moved last fall to suburb of St Louis, I like it here but sometime I miss "home" BIG TIME! I haven't even thought to update my profile!

Hi Kayla,

At check-in you will now need an activated Adult AP or PAP to check-in. They no longer allow a child's AP to be considered to get the discounts..

Here's the current information from the AP website. However, from past experience (been an AP holder since 1995), the AP holder does not have to be the one making the reservation, but does need to be staying in the room.

"No group rates or other discounts apply. Advance reservations required. Passholder must present his or her valid adult Pass at check in. Offer will also be made available to certain non-Passholders in other select promotions."
