Can you still email DVC?

Many times, f its a small thing like a room location request, I greatly prefer to just send an email rather than sitting on hold for 30 minutes and then having to go through the 10 minute schpeil with the CM on the phone. I am trying to press the "email us" link on the DVC site and getting the wonderful Stitch error page. Do they not accept email requests anymore?

I was able to find a slightly different link last night that worked. After you log in to the site, go to the Help/Contact menu and select "Contact Us." Then the email link should be in the upper right-hand corner. The link in the lower left side of other pages doesn't seem to work.

https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/contact/email/ seems to work, but
https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/member/contact/ does not.

you can use chat as well. always been faster than calling in my experience.

I have been met with resistance when emailing directly. According to DVC they need to verify who you are for security purposes. Emailing from the website does that because you need to be logged in to do so.

What's your secret for emailing directly?
