Can you stand one more Gay Day question?

Sounds like next year we'll be in the World during that week and I assume we'll avoid MK on Saturday because I plan to try to avoid crowds as much as possible. DH and I have a good friend from college who lives in Tampa...he's been with his partner longer than DH and I have been married...we notice that he mentions going to Gay Day in his Christmas letter, so I am hoping that we can actually meet up with him while at WDW.

ANYWAY, is the gay PDA at the parks that week any more frequent/brazen/vulgar than the amount at PDA one would ordinarily see at a theme park?

I don't think there is. I was there for the very first Gay Day and didn't even know it until I got back home and saw something on the news about it. The only thing I've ever seen a gay couple do in the parks is hold hands and I've actually spent time in the parks with two gay couples. But I have seen several man/woman couples who looked like they needed to be back in their hotel room.

Nope...

Actually it was one of the best days I have ever had at WDW. All of the groups were really getting into being there....singing the songs, dancing to the music of the parade...just having a wonderful time. For me and DH, a childless couple, it was nice to be a WDW with the majority being adults. Granted some acted like toddlers, but most just were having a grand ol time. It made for an awesome day at MK

I'll be honest with you...we were there one year during GayDays, and I didn't relaize it until later that night, when I overheard some people talking about it. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

There are inappropriate displays of public affection in the parks. I have seen it on a regular basis. It is always between a man and a woman.

We were there a few years ago during gay day and didn't
even know it until we got home. We were not at MK on the
appointed day but we were in the parks all week. I don't
usually notice others behavior unless it's directly involving me
at WDW, I'm usually to intent on experiencing the magic.
The only PDA I've noticed was (again) between heteros thus far.
