Wednesday I go in for my three month scans. I'm very nervous, that Scanxiety is definitely popping up.

I know, it seems like yesterday that I was going for my after-chemo scans, but it's really been three months!
I'm hoping and praying another tumor doesn't show up. If one does, oh man, I cannot describe the sadness. Heartbreaking doesn't even begin to cover it, I don't want to go thru cancer again.

So if you can spare some good thoughts, can you send them my way please?
You guys are the greatest, you've been there throughout my whole battle, and I'm counting on you, your thoughts and prayers worked their magic!
Sonya.

ETA: New Uh-ohs. My pulse is really high and I'm losing a lot of weight. I'm going to a cardiologist and I'm really worried.

I will be praying for a full recovery for you. I don't know you well, but I have seen what the others hear have said about you, and you are an awesome young woman and a very strong one. You are in my prayers and just know that miracles do happen. I've seen them in my own life, and I know they can and will happen in yours. God bless you! And again, I'll be praying for you!

Sonya, you're one of the strongest people I know!
You can't imagine the amount of prayers or pixie dust I'm sending your way! If you ever need to talk to someone, I'm always there for you!

Good Luck and pixie dust!:goodvibes

Thanks you guys! Your thoughts and prayers are definitely working.
My mom is in a support group for parents who have kids with cancer, as there are no support groups here. They have meetings, and a tonights meeting there was a 50 year, yes I repeat 50 year survivor of osteosarcoma! And he was treated at University of Pennsylvania too!

Definitely makes me feel better.

Today's medical advancements are amazing! Hearing such great things like that really makes me so encouraged!!!

You'll be in my thoughts!

I know how that feels, honey. I waited more than a week to find out my most recent results, and I was a nervous wreck! My friends had to calm me down several times. I had to literally distract myself from thinking about it.

I saw your mom's YouTube videos of you, and you seem like such an incredibly strong young woman. I cried!

Best of luck to you, sweetie :D

Okay, so here's the deal. We ended up in the ER for my pulse. First time since the chemo was done, but we knew it was going to happen.

I had an appointment with my DR at 3, and told him about my heart beat rate. It was high, in the 130s at rest, not normal. He tried all these homeopathic massages (have you ever had an eyeball massage? LOL) and check my thyroid, ears, nose, throat, everything. He couldn't find what was wrong so sent me to the ER. We got there around 5pm and left at 11:15pm. Got 3 bags of hydration, bloodwork, and a CT scan and still couldn't find anything. Most signs were dehydration, so they left it at that.

Thanks everyone!

Glad to hear that you're doing better!

Good luck with your scans today *hugs*

Yes, I'm doing MUCH better today.

And we cancelled the scans for today. We got home and went to sleep around 2am, and we had to be there at 830am. Plus, I got one done yesterday, and there are no masses in my chest!
Later today we're going to Philly, because this week is Sarcoma Awareness week, and they're having a celebration.
