can you skip the cake ceromony?

I was windring if you can not have the cake ceromony and just have the cake delivered to a resteraunt for your reception?

I've never heard of anyone doing this but I don't think we would feel like eating dinner after a rich cake in the florida heat.

I am sure you could have them ship the cake over to the resteraunt and do the cake after as dessert, they will prob just charge a move fee or something.

Yes! My planner said it would be fine to have our cake boxed up to take to a restaurant with us.
