Can you ship packages to resort ahead of time?

We're staying at Pop Century this week. I'm wondering if they will accept and hold a package for us if I shipped it out ahead of time? It'd be nice to ship off items that the kids will need that will be bulky in our luggage. We'll be there on Wednesday so they wouldn't have to hold anything long. Or I might be too late to shop anyways.

Yes, you can ship packages to yourself. Just put your name and confirmation number on the package (with Pop's address, of course). Also, I suggest calling Pop to let them know that you're shipping a package and that they may need to hold it a few days.

I always ship using UPS. They can tell you when to ship to have pkg. arriving couple days before you. FedX can do the same. This also gives you ability to track your package and know when it's been delivered. With UPS I also get the name of person that signed/accepted my package. I'm sure FedX does too.
I address my package to:

myself (ARRIVAL DATE)
c/o resort name
address
city, state & zip

I address the label this way, but also on the sides of the box in black mkr.

I hope so, I just did it this morning...I put down the resort then c/o me, oh well if I did it wrong, it should get there on Thrusday & I will get there on Friday!

I shipped 30# (2 boxes ) and it cost $24 at UPS - its supposed to get there tomorrow (I shipped Friday) I get there Friday!!

(and I shipped glow sticks we had laying around from a company - well that and a few bottles... It does add up!)

DW and I do it all the time. We send the items that take up too much space in the luggage. Diapers, wipes, baby food, some snacks and one time even a spare piece of luggage for all those gifts. Just make sure if you use ups you send them with enough time to be delivered on a week day. The resort will hold the packages over the week end if needed, just do like the previous poster said to let the resort know. Have a great trip. We have never had a problem.......

Thanks for the info! I'm really glad to hear this. Now i can ship all of our halloween garb but that was taking up lots and lots of room!!
