Can you share with me which moderate you prefer and why?

I booked POFQ for a week in mid June. We have never stayed there. We stayed once at Coronado Springs years and years ago for a few nights. We stayed CB EONS ago. We stayed at Riverside back in 2012 before the refurb and we stayed there back when it was Dixie Landings. I keep second guessing my POFQ stay. Thanks.

Our favorite mod is PO Riverside. We love the grounds and IMHO, the food court is one of the best on property.

Both CSR and CBR will be undergoing MAJOR refurbishment/construction for the next two years....

for that reason alone, it's down to (for me) either POFQ or POR and personally, I prefer POR for these 3 reasons:
1. theming
2. superior food court
3. yehaw bob

Do you request a certain section/area or view at POR

We prefer the Magnolia Bend section (mansions). I would not pay up for a water view at a moderate since the view would be across/through the public outdoor access walkways. Haven't tried the royal rooms, so I can't comment on those.

We stayed at the CR springs resort for our Honeymoon 10 years ago. It is a lot of walking but it was beautiful and the pool was fabulous.

I've stayed at CBR, POR, and CSR...CSR is my favorite (IMO best transportation and best pool, most amenities and dining options).

However, both CSR and CBR are undergoing extensive rehabs so you may want to stick to the PO resorts.

Port Orleans Riverside. We love the theme, the boat transportation options, and just the resort in general. The size doesn't bother us-we've never had an issue with the walking distance or bus transportation.

I travel with a group of 5, so we are stuck with Alligator Bayou. I don't think POR is large enough to worry about paying for preferred, but that's JMO. If you can spring for preferred, I would recommend it. In terms of rooms for less than 5, I like the Magnolia Bend rooms, though I've never tried the Royal Rooms. So, really, besides preferred to be closer to amenities, I don't think it's worth booking a particular view. Truthfully, I don't think there's a "bad" spot at POR. I hope that somewhat answers the question. LOL

We have stayed at Coronado 4 times now and preparing for our fifth stay. Has the amenities of a deluxe, spa, gym. huge themed pool and smaller pools in each area, 2 table service restaurants. more of an adult theme tho. Not as many kids. Although I think we all become kids when we go back to Disney.

we have stayed at POR and Coronado springs. The pool at CSR is the bomb but we got put in the ranchos which is just too far from the amenities to enjoy them.I preferred POR.

I just stayed at POFQ last fall and really liked it because it was so compact and I felt like nothing was far away. We were there for the food court renovation and I appreciated the NOLA themed additions to the menu so I could have something a little different at breakfast. The kids went crazy for the dragon tongue slide and they also loved the charm of the fake architecture. Now I have to take them to the real thing:) I recommend it.

My favorite moderate is the FW cabins because you are so close to the magic kingdom. You get a full kitchen with room for everyone and this natural world around you with ducks and frogs and lizards and the gorgeous real pine smell with spanish moss. You are also right near Hoop Dee Do Revue and the Trails End Buffet is so easy and delicious. Also campfire movies. The only drawback is the double bussing if you don't get a golf cart or a close loop.

Riverside is very spread out and I am too lazy to walk that far when I am on vacation.

I haven't stayed at the others yet.

I LOVE POR, because I LOVE the food court, but I also LOVE POFQ because of it's smaller size and quaintness.

We tend to prefer POFQ because of its size, but we stay at POR when the deal is better. Both are great, and we walk back and forth between the two, anyway.

I've always wanted to stay at POFQ. I was booked ther in 2015 but switched to CBR for free dining. I'm currently booked at CSR hoping for free dining this August. Someday . . .

I do love the theme of CBR. My husband wasn't thrilled with how large it was. He didn't like the long walk to get coffee in the morning. Next time, I'm bringing my kuerig.
