Can you set separate limits on KTTW cards?

Just wondering if it is possible to allocate certain amounts of money to each persons card (more so for our two kids). They'll be getting money/Disney gift cards for their birthdays so was wondering if I would be able to set spending amounts on their individual KTTW cards.

No. You can assign different credit cards to each (adult) KTTW card. But kid's cards are tied to the adult backup (usually a credit card). You can't put a limit on a kid's card. The only option is to have the charging ability turned on or off.

Now, everytime a KTTW card is used, it will show up on the bill separately. Each card is listed separately with the charges made by that card. You can use that to see if they've "used up" their allotment and then turn their charging ability off. You can apply the gift cards/cash to the general onboard account.

The kids can use gift cards in the shops on board, so if that's all they'll be buying just use the gift cards there.
