Can you see parade from Plaza in MK?

We will be eating dinner at the Plaza. Does anyone know if you can see the 7:00 parade from Plaza?

If so what time would be the best time to reserve?

I'll be curious to see the answer on this. The parade route goes right past the Plaza, but I expect that the people lined up along the curb would pretty much block the view. Our plan in early December is to eat an early dinner (2 hours, 10 minutes before Spectro.) there and then find a place at the curb to view Spectromagic and then the fireworks.

No, there is no viewing from the plaza restaurant. It sits in too far (ice cream parlor is on corner) and the very limited window seating would only provide maybe a glimpse over peoples heads and somewhat far away. I would suggest Tony's Town Square and if you're lucky, you may get a porch seat (not guaranteed but ask). They have no problem with letting you linger at the end of your meal to catch the parade. They will even prevent people from standing in front of you on the porch. I've done this twice now and it's great! You are somewhat elevated up on that porch and the angle is great for seeing it come around town square.

This is correct...we've been in the window seats there -- cannot see through all the people (although it's a good place for a sandwich meal)
