Can you see DVC models at all DVC resorts???

Just curious? I know when we stayed at BWV they had one...so if we wanted to visit the AKV OR VWL...are there units for us to see?? thanks

No - models are only available at SSR and BWV. You can always ask at the front desk at the other resorts - if they have a vacant and clean villa available to show you, they are usually good about allowing a self-guided tour.

You might want to ask around noon - as they are more likely to have an available villa.

I like the idea of viewing the rooms before I stay somewhere. It heps to get the feel of the resort.

this is really good to know....

we are going down in late August for the free dining (booked before getting the dvc ) we are taking a day from the parks to check out all the dvc
resorts. I would love to have the chance to check out some of the
villas if availble.

My wife and son went on a week long WDW, behind the scenes, school trip, and she said that the BW model was open.

They went in April.

There is no longer a sales office at BWV, but the model that was accessed from the Boardwalk next to Jellyrolls was kept as a model and is still being used for that purpose.

They did turn some of the model rooms into regular rooms but left one open, kind of where the waiting room used to be.
