We're going low budget...not many meals being eaten onsite. So, can we still see the candlelight processional w/o buying dinner package and if so, when should we arrive (I'm in an ECV). TIA

YES! I would highly recommend this performance to anyone! You will love it. Nope you don't haffa buy the "package" as such. All that means is that you might get a better seat.

Just remember that the show goes on regardless of weather and not all seat are covered. You might want to line up a bit earlier -- just watch the lines, last time we waited while we ate snacks! Didn't care that we got to hear some of thee music 2x

Is the seating area open the whole time before the show begins, or does everyone stand in a line somewhere until a certain time before the performance? If so, when can one take a seat? What time should those w/o the dinner package line up? Thanks.

There is a roped off section for those who have the package YEAH me :cool1: AND one for those who don't. Uhm I didn't explain that correctly. Yes you haffa wait until the "rope drop" as such. Once that happens you are free to sit whereever. I must admit all the seats are great! When we took kids 10 yrs ago we ended up off to one side but it was still wonderful! We heard the 1st show whilst walking around and KNEW we had to actually sit down -- just asked a CM when the line for new show would start. I stood in line while DD took the kids to get snacks and bring them back. It was SO good that we booked the package when we got back to our hotel for later that week!

oh gosh! That is a really hard question. Like I mentioned it was 10 years ago! You just need to ask a CM when you get there and they will give you a ball park figure.

Have a great time -- I noticed that we are going around about the same time as us :thumbsup2

I'm looking for an answer to this too. We want to go to the 5pm show w/o dinner reservations and I wonder what time we need to get in line.

If you want to go without a package, strongly consider the 5:00 pm show and get in line at least 1 hour before the show. Not everyone knows about the show and once the first one starts and people become aware of it, more people may try to spontaneously see it. Also, since you have to eat before the show with the dining package, the eating times for the 5:00 pm show are not the best. So, there is probably the greatest chance of having less "package holders" at that performance.

Just my $.02!
