I was thinking about ordering Pal Mickey to be shipped to my nephews prior to our trip in May. Is there a way to buy this prior to our arrival and have it shipped?

I was wondering this VERY same thing. DD's birthday is 04/17, and she wants one, but we won't get to the park until 04/16.

Don't they need to be "programmed" somehow?

You can also call Disney Merchandising directly, and avoid the markup. I lost the number, but the main number should be able to give you the merchandising number.
It's also been up on the boards noiw and then, but I couldn't find it in search.
