Can you reserve a particular room at Be Our Guest

Hi Everyone

I'll be taking the family to Disney this May.

Trying without success so far to book a reservation for dinner at Be Our Guest.

But my question is if we're lucky enough to get a reservation, I'd like to have dinner in the Grand Ballroom. Can anyone tell if its possible to specify which room you will dine in?

No, luck of the draw. You can ask at checkin, but they may or may not honor it.

You can request a room when you check in. The rooms are not filled to capacity at dinner, so they'll likely be able to accommodate you.

When you check in at the podium you can request a table in the ballroom, but there is no guarantee. The ballroom, however, is the largest room and has the most tables so it is pretty likely that you'll be successful.

I've requested rooms at BOG. I had to wait a bit longer to sit in the west wing, but like others have said, the ballroom is so big they should be able to accommodate and get you in quickly.

Stick with it and you'll get that BOG.

I'm hoping to get in the ballroom as well. When we went 2 years ago I didn't know any better and they sat us in the West Wing. My mother in law is deaf in one ear and couldn't hear a thing. My father couldn't read the menu. My daughter was scared of the effects. It was a stressful meal.

I was fortunate enough to get a reservation to BOG for our trip in May. We have never been to WDW before and BOG is our first ADR. How early should we get to the restaurant? Do we have to wait in a line to check in? I hope someone with experience can ease my worry about missing my reservation. Thanks!

Get there at least 5-10 minutes prior (you don't need to be early...just don't be late). There is a check-in podium in front at the entrance to the bridge. You wait in the line, check-in and they ask for your cell # to text you when your table is ready. When you get the text, you can walk over the bridge and wait near the entrance. Someone will come out and call your name when they are ready to seat you. No worries. It's easy.

Yes. The Ballroom is the big center room. The West Wing is dark and has effects like thunder.

I've waited 5 minutes and I've waited 20 minutes. It varies by how busy it is.

Can I bring my scooter into the restaurant? I can't walk more than a few steps and I have balance problems.
