Can you request turkey bacon at restaurants?

Anyone ever done this before? At breakfast buffets or just regular table service breakfast meals?

A few years back I asked at 'Ohana if they had either turkey bacon or turkey sausage to sub on the skillet and was told no. I haven't tried anywhere else though.
