Can you remember the very first attraction you experienced on your very first trip to WDW?

Mine was Dumbo (with DH and our kids ages 5 and 7) in 2003. pixiedust:

What was yours?

well i dont remember it cause i was only a few months old. But my mom says my very first disney ride was The Jungle Cruise. Probably why i must ride it as soon as we get to the park now

I can't even remember the first ride I went on last May! My first trip was in 1993, and I remember one of my first rides was Space Mountain. I was scared to death and had never been on a roller coaster before. It was just my dad and me, and I loved it! I seem to remember it being a lot darker than it is now...

My very first ride EVER at WDW was Space Mountain...in 1980. It was my first roller coaster ride and I was hooked on coasters and Disney from then on!!

:goodvibes My first ride ever at WDW was only 3 years ago and now we are hooked on WDW!!!

It was Haunted Mansion. Unfortunately, it was being renovated last trip.

This trip it should be on for the MNSSHP!

Since it was only 5 years ago, it's easy to remember. The first park we visited was Epcot, and our first ride was Test Track! :car:
Our next park was MK, and our first ride there was Aladdin's magic carpets. :genie:

Sigh...I want to go to WDW!! :sad1:

I don't think it was the first ride we rode, but we LOVED the Haunted Mansion and my Dad actually bought extra "E" tickets so we could ride it a second time. That trip was in the early 70's. A few years ago, the first "ride" I went on was the Tiki Room. Then, we had a Citrus Swirl afterward at 10am! :rotfl2: It's never too early for ice cream!

Don't remember the first ride I went on because I was only 3 years old.
The first time I went with DH our first ride was "It's a Small World".

THE YEAR WAS 1980!!! My DH and I were on our Honeymoon and DH (who had been in 1976) grabbed my hand and said let's go to SPACE MOUNTAIN. I agreed..........ahhhhhhhhhh..........I HATED IT....I had NO idea what I was getting into. I HATE roller coasters and dark......

BEEN MANY TIMES SINCE...NEVER BEEN BACK ON SPACE MOUNTAIN EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!! :sad2:

We did Dumbo first thing on our first trip in 2004! My girls (2 & 6) at the time loved it! We only waited through one ride before we got on! I'll never forget how excited we all were. The girls were in their princess dresses for our CRT reservations later that morning. Can't wait to go back in September!!!!!!!

1982 --- The Tiki Birds. Some people think this is kind of a lame attraction, but it was our "first" Disney experience and we were thoroughly impressed! We like the new version, but thought the old version was just fine, too. It's a special memory.

January 2002. ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter. Ironic since it wasn't a very "Disney" attraction. Glad it didn't freak out our 9yo DS!

But it was still better than Stitch!

The year was 1971. I was 5 years old and while I don't remember exactly :confused3 which ride was my very first, I do have some fond memories of some of the rides, such as:

- Thinking it was so cool to be going so far deep under water on 20,000 Leagues :rotfl2:
- Having Cleopatra wink at me in Small World and getting all flustered  (what can I say, I was an impressionable 5 year old!!)
- I don't remember anything about the Haunted Mansion except for my father's leg - I buried my face in it the entire ride - except for the ballroom scene!!!

If you don't count the parking lot tram or the monorail to get into MK, we probably went to the right first, into Tomorrowland, and rode Mission to Mars (not to be confused with Mission: Space :teeth: )

my very first ride was spaceship earth. I had the flu that very first day in epcot. I was sixteen and my friend told me this was nice and slow. I was hooked and now the very first day my very first ride is spaceship earth. I know it's kinda corny, but when they turn the seats and you are looking at the room with earth and the star I just wanted to jump up and scream 'This place is the best place (WDW) in the whole inter world' :teeth:

My first trip was in 1975 when I was 8 years old. I was more excited about seeing Mickey on Main Street than any of the rides. We went to the Haunted Mansion soon after getting there because I couldn't wait to see it in person after listening to the record. I ruined my mom's trip because I insisted that she ride Space Mountain with me. She spent the rest of the day sitting under a tree in Tomorrowland fighting off motion sickness. Sorry Mom!
