Can you remember the worst and best crowds you ever experienced...

Best crowd - Week before Christmas in 2006 time range. everything was walk-on

Worst crowd - December 31, 1999 in Disneyland. in DW, Dec 26th, 2006. going from best to worst in the same week made us reschedule all our future trips to leave on the 25th.

Least crowded ever: the two weeks after 9/11... we were there from 9/8 to 9/22 and as soon as the airports were working again, it was a ghost town. Hopefully we'll never have an occasion for that to be the case again :sad1:

Other than that, the first week in March is nice but the weather is variable. One year hot, the next parka and beanie weather.

The end of September is great until F&W weekend. The first week of Sept is great, except for the day before LD. I like HOT weather and low crowds so we always go one of these weeks.

Most crowded I've ever been present for was the last week in June - never again during the school vacation summer...

Best: Feb 2011, daughter's first trip. Cool weather, short lines (though she was too scared to go on anything)

Worst: New Year's eve (I think 2004?) in Epcot. Ugh. Another surprising bad day was HS in late April 2012. I think there was a cheerleading competition in town because there were ginormous groups of teenagers everywhere, making all of the thrill ride lines extremely long.

Last year 10/31-11/5 was actually pretty good crowds. Our next trip will be either same timing or first week of December.

The best (least) crowds I've ever had are always during Sept, we're usually there the second-fourth week and absolutely love it!!
WORST would be right before New Fantasyland officially opened, Thanksgiving weekend :crazy2: certainly NEVER doing that again, it was worse than summer!

The last few weeks of april aren't the greatest for character hunting either, lol we do a lot of that, and found that we could walk onto any ride we wanted (especially the headliners/big kid rides) but that the character lines were well over an hour. Simply because all the kids that were there were the pre school/kindergarten and younger who wouldn't be on rides!

We went to WDW in early December, 2001, and it was almost empty of people. We stayed at WL and sections of the resort were not being used. We rode splash mountain and were the only ones in the log. Many rides were almost empty. This was just after the attack on 9/11/2001.

The most crowded was over Christmas week. Never again.

Worst: Spring break (week of easter) sometime in the early 90s. It was wall to wall people- and waits for EVERY ride were 90 minutes and UP...and I mean EVERYTHING. We also did universal that year- we waited 120 minutes for ET. It was a horrific trip. NEVER EVER again during a holiday break!

Best Weeks -

Last week of August 2011 before labor day - weather was actually decent and don't remember getting too hot. Most rides were walk-on and enjoyed very light crowds in the late evening. We even got to see all the Halloween decorations before we left. They're usually up by middle of that week.

Week before Thanksgiving 2010 - super duper light crowds and everything was walk-on with NO WAITS whatsoever. Weather was great and was able to enjoy most of the Christmas decorations especially at Magic Kingdom.
