I have never exercised a day in my adult life. But I am ready to start. I'd like to buy an exercise video but it is going to have to be easy to start with. Any ideas?
I love Leslie Sansome's "Walk Away the Pounds" series. She has tapes that range from 1 mile to 4 miles, as well as ones that target different areas of your body. It doesn't require alot of coordination like many tapes do, and she is very upbeat and encouraging. Just start simple and add time and intensity as you feel comfortable.
What a hoot - I would recommend highly Leslie Sansone also - you won't believe that just walking in place could really tone you all over but they work great!
I recommend the Walk away the pounds series as well. When I started with the workouts I started with the mile and when I wanted a challenge I would try the four miles. It's a great workout, doesn't take that much room, or even that more time. I've seen the videos enough now that I will do a routine when I am just watching tv.
Another vote for WATP. If you go to www.collagevideo.com you can view clips of videos/Dvds. I built up my strength and stamina after having my 5th baby and I still use them.
