Can you recommend a good cruise for young adults?

My co-worker is 23. She and her girlfriends want to plan a cruise, but want something ideal for their age group. Money is generally not much of an issues with these ladies. Any recommendations?

Most cruise lines today are marketing to families. However, we just went on a Royal Caribbean cruise (Mariner of the Seas) and there were tons of young adults (18-25) on the cruise and they were having the times of their lives. The Voyager Class ships are awesome.

Thanks for the tip. Does anyone have additional cruises she should check out?

I would say Carnival cruise lines. The 7 day on the Glory would be wonderful. We are going in January on Carnival. It will be our 3rd and we love it.Our first was in 2000 and i was 26 and DH was 23.Then we went again in 2001 and We had a Wonderful time we went with 23 friends and family ranging from 24 to 55 and we had a Blast. That was on the Fantasy 4 day to the Bahamas.

If they are really "party animals", they need to check out the Carnival Cruise that sails from New Orleans. Carnival is generally known as the "party ships", but the one that sails out of New Orleans is the bawdiest of them all.:bounce:

I don't think they're looking for anything too wild and crazy, they just don't want to be stuck on board with a bunch of grandparents. They want to have some fun and meet other singles.

You're going to find older people on any cruise that you choose. However, statistics say that the two cruise lines that have the least amount of senior citizens are Carnival & Royal Caribbean. I've been on both lines and I can say that the Royal Caribbean was partying harder than the Carnival. However, the Carnival cruise I took left out of San Juan and a lot of younger people don't cruise out of San Juan due to the expensive airfare.

Take a Carnival Cruise if you are looking for more young people. I've been on several and the first one was packed with singles in their 20's to early 30's. We got very little sleep, had tons of fun and a bunch of us even got in "trouble" with the cruise police. There were too many of us drinking smuggled rum punch in a cabin around dinnertime (honestly).

:hyper:

I would recommend Royal Caribbean if they want a fun, active cruise with some degree of better service/food/atmosphere. Of course, when they go, what itinerary they pick, and luck will determine what sort of people are on the trip.
