I just have a few afterthoughts I wanted to share.
I wore a pedometer throughout my trip. I was curious to see how many miles I would walk in a week at Walt Disney World. Well, I walked just over 82 miles from the moment I got off the plane until I got on Magical Express back to the airport! It is probably actually a bit lower than that, as the rides do add steps to the pedometer, but I would have to guess it was pretty close to 80 miles--and my pedometer is very accurate.
I noticed that the bathrooms seemed to be a bit grungier than I ever recall them being in the past. They just didn't seem to keep them clean. More than once, I encountered bathrooms that were so disgusting that I almost wanted to walk out of them. I also noticed that the caulking along the sinks in many of the bathrooms were graying, and had slices in it. It just looked bad.
I enjoyed my second stay in my DVC home resort, the Boardwalk Villas. The rooms are extremely nice, and I found the staff there to be extremely helpful. They really do a great job of keeping the grounds at this resort neat and clean, especially the Boardwalk itself. And the fact that Jellyrolls is right there is a big plus.
This trip really made me realize just how blessed I am to have so many wonderful people in my life. I got to spend a lot of time with my DIS friends, and we sure had a lot of laughs, and a lot of fun. I am lucky to have such wonderful friends here on the DIS. I also am very blessed to know so many wonderful people at Jellyrolls--especially Scotty (and his family), and Ray. So many people added to my enjoyment of this trip, and I'm looking forward to meeting up with all of them again real soon!
Thanks for reading
