Can I purchase the disney dinning plan if I am staying at the Swan/dolphin??

Hmmm... I didn't know that, and we're booked at the swan/dolphin. I knew about the Magical Express, but not the DDP.

This is odd, because I suspect it is a money maker for Disney. And with the character meals and EMH at Swan/Dolphin, I'm surprised they don't offer this.

I actually thought about signing up for it - not to save money, rather, as an excuse to go to some of the nicer places! Oh well. Disney's loss - I'll eat at more nicer places next time.

The S/D aren't owned by Disney so can't get all those extra perks. Yes, they get most of them but not DME or the DDP. Same thing with SoG.

Understood. I just wonder why they'd leave this one out. In fact, I wonder why it simply isn't available to everyone. My $10 bet says it becomes a park ticket option, much like Park hopper. The option will add the DDP going rate to your park ticket, and you have to buy it for the same duration as your tickets.
