I am going through my closet trying to see what I have that I can wear for Traditions and classes. I really don't want to be denied entry over something like what I am wearing.

Can you please post pictures of outfits that you have worn to Traditions and classes that were acceptable?

I don't really have any pictures... I just suggest either a knee-length (or longer) skirt or dress slacks, and a button up dress shirt. Perhaps a sweater. They chill those meeting rooms heavily. Oh, and dress shoes. Girls, no open toes, not even dressy peep-toe heels. I saw someone get turned away for those shoes. And for classes, you can wear your costume, that's allowed. But simple is best, no need to be a fashion model. Think church. Nice, but not a suit and tie, either.

Here are some ideas.

Girls
Blouse (less cleavage, though...all the models tend to show off cleavage, of course) http://www.forever21.com/product.as...y_name=fab_finds&product_id=2056364883&Page=1

Pants http://www.forever21.com/product.as..._name=btms_pants&product_id=2057610249&Page=1

Skirt http://www.forever21.com/product.as...name=btms_skirts&product_id=2054118735&Page=1

Pants Not jeans or cargo pants. Couldn't find a link that wasn't jeans or meant for old men haha

Hope that helps someone!

Dress pants, button down blouse that is tucked in and a belt is what I wore. Closed shoes. Simple jewelry and makeup. Don't worry about it too much. If you wear a skirt, bring nylons.

Do blouses have to be tucked in? Some styles are made to be worn out.

I specifically asked this and was told if it is designed to be worn out, it does NOT have to be tucked in. I wore slacks and an untucked blouse to Traditions and was fine.

Same here. They were completely fine with that I wore.

Word of advice, though - don't skimp out on the shoes. They specifically checked the shoes of everyone that was on the line with me. A boy had black sneaker-type shoes on and he could not attend.

maybe they changed things then...because I remember having to tuck in every shirt...oh well

Did you wear a button-down shirt? If so then those you definately have to tuck in. I wore a blouse so it would've looked really stupid to tuck it in, haha.

WOMEN
These links should help you out.

this is a pretty good instruction list

MEN
Guys its easy.
pants: slacks, or khakis. make sure they are not a denim like materal.
Shirt: Solid Polo, or Dress shirt with optional tie
Shoes: Dress shoes, a leather loafer, or a Sperry type shoe works. NO SNEAKERS!!!
Make sure your shirt is tucked in, and you wear a simple leather belt. and SHAVE, or they will send you to the bathroom with a disposable and make you shave there. It happened to my roommate and the razor burn wasnt pretty.

Take it from someone whos been to Traditions. Follow these guidelines and avoid embarrassment.

I promise if you're the best dressed person at traditions, Disney is not going to complain. ;)

If you watch the Epresentation, there is an interview with the students in class and dressed in professional attire. You can check that out!

Brent, I think those links are geared more toward women looking for an office job. My impression is that "professional attire" for Disney is a little less... well, office-y. (But I haven't been on the college program, so I could be wrong!)

It's been awhile since I looked at my Disney look book, but I'm thinking Khakis are a no. I remember there being some very specific information about Docker style pants. Really, the Look Book is your friend. It will let you know what is and isn't acceptable. Dress according to the Look Book and you will be fine.

Make sure that your hair is okay. I had a roommate get turned away from traditions because she had platinum highlights in her black hair. She was pissed, but I had hard time feeling sympathy for her because that was specifically addressed in the Look Book (highlights must not be extreme and must look natural).

For traditions I wore a black suit with button down shirt, nylons, and black pumps.
