can you pay early?

Hi, I have a ? for all you great people. We made reservations at asmo and they took a one night stay as deposit. Well, my ? is can we pay for more than just that before we go? I got a little extra money now and would like to apply it to our room before we go so we will have more to spend when we get there. Anyone know if this is possible? Thanks

Oh yes Disney is perfectly happy to take your money ahead of time.

That is correct. Disney is more than happy to let you pay. There are some in my family who like to do that too. They feel like then they don't have to worry as much about the money when they get there. Have fun!

Another option would be to put it into a CD or savings account and let it earn some interest. It won't be a whole lot, but some is better then nothing.

because contrary to everything said here so far, I PLANNED on making payments, but I cannot, I was told that if you book online, after that first payment, you cannot make anymore until you show up to check in at the front desk, it wont let me do it online, so I called to do it, and they told me that if booked online, they cant take anymore payments until checkin.

On the bottom of the confirmation sheet is a portion to tear off and return with a check. They wouldn't mail your check back to you, would they? It goes to an address in Chicago, I think.

We do it all the time. I pay each month so that (hopefully) by the time we get there it's paid in full.

I wouldn't trust sending a check there. I would put it into an account as someone else suggested. or pay by credit card over the phone to get a confirmation number if you want to pay now.

The check was fine. The directions are on the back of the confirmation sheet. Granted, the credit card online would be a lot easier, but it seems when making the reservation online they won't allow you to pay over the phone or online with a credit card. So, if someone wants to pay early, the check might be the only option.

I always pay mine off monthly by personal check and have never had any issues. I save a document on Word with my name, dates, confirmation number, etc. and print one out to send in with my checks. Checks are also a good paper trail if payments are lost, etc.
I love getting there and having the resort prepaid!

Yes, you can pay online. There is an area under "My Vacations" where you can pull up your reservation by the Reservation Number & your Phone Number. Once you pull it up, there is a link to make a payment online. I know this because I just did it. Also, we booked a vacation plan online and on our mailed confirmation and online it says we have to have it payed in full 45 days prior to our vacation...

I plan to pay our ahead of time, paying one night per month.

We are staying at the Poly in December, and I KNOW I would have a heart attack if I see the bill for the total amount!

I know it's just playing a game with myself, paying it off a little each month, but that's my plan.

If you have a room only reservation, you can pay extra on it and use any overage to charge at the resort.

If it is a package your balance is due 45 days prior to arrival. Anything you pay over will automatically be refunded to you.

For an Internet Room Only reservation (R) booking you can only pay the deposit, which is one nights stay plus tax. The balance must be paid at the resort.

I never got a conifrmation in the mail yet(altough I did only book on dec24th) but htey did send me some other kind of tips package with info on it,but it wasnt really a confirmation. and like i said, I called to pay, they said nope. cant do it online either, so until I get a confirmation mail we will see.

I plan on making a payment every week until we leave.
