Can you only get free dinning in value resorts?

I was just wondering , although Disney has not offically said they are offering free dinning in 2007 , if they do offer it , is it only for people staying in the value resorts ? It would be great if it was offered to any resort guest . I have only stayed in the values and I would love the chance to upgrade with the money I would be saving . Just wondering .

Free dining is offered to all levels of resorts - the reason you hear mostly about the values is because that's the best value for the free dining.

We just booked our next trip through the bounce-back promotion and for 9 nights with 4 1-day base tickets at the All Stars comes to 1,100.54 or $122 a night - If we chose POFQ the price comes to 1,734.86 or $192 a night. Value season rack rate at a value is $82 for 2007 - where can you go on vacation for 9 nights on less than $150 a day?

Yup, and many folks found that, at the deluxe resorts, using a deep room rate discount (which doesn't qualify for the free dining promotion) and paying for the Dining Plan, they were better off than if they just took the free dining promotion.

Some deluxe guests found booking a AAA discounted room rate and paying for dining was a better deal. Dining is a great deal when you have 2A and 2 "adult" kids. A discount can work out better if you only have one or two adults in a deluxe room. In many cases an AP discount combined with a DDE discount for food can be a better deal.
