Can you name this lady?!

She looks like one of the new designers on ABC's Extreme Makover Home show!

She bears a strong resemblance to Alana De La Garza, an actress who has recently been appearing on CSI:Miami as Delko's cancer stricken sister, as well as on the now cancelled Book Of Daniel.

I'm not sure that it is her, but they do look very similar.

Speaking of CSI:Miami and Disney, have you noticed that Erin from the Disney planning video is the new "State Attorney" who has it in for Horatio in CSI? She's made up differently, and she's not nearly as perky, but it's her nonetheless.

When we saw her, there was a rack of clothes... she was wearing a neat gypsy like outfit with flowing skirt and she was having pictures taken. She really looked like a model, she was posing and then was doing little leaps to "catch her in the air" on camera. So I would say she was a model of some sort. The photo the op caught of her makes her look much nicer then we did, she looked very harsh when we saw her, lol.

We were at AK the first week of January and we saw a film crew walking by with all their equipment. We asked a CM what they were filming and he said he didn't know. He told us that crews film at AK a lot because of the backdrop....everything from movies to t.v. shows, etc. I thought it was pretty neat and it made sense. AK does have exotic backdrops. I don't know who the lady is but maybe she's with another crew filming in the beautiful AK.

When I saw this posting this morning I also thought she was from ABC's Extreme Makover Home show. This warrants some investigation. :teeth:

She sort of looks like Linda Fiorentino (sp?) The girl from Vision Quest from mid-1980's. She played Carla from Trenton, NJ. Matthew Modine was in the movie about wrestling. I was in high school, what can I say I loved the movie! But I do think it looks like her, but I guess she might be older now, but who knows. Just my $.02

Linda Fiorentino was my first instinct too but I don't think it is. Hmmmm the mystery continues!

Could she be on one of those Travel Channel shows?

They were filming commercials featuring Expedition Everest the first week of January. We were asked to be extras, but had to turn it down. DD gets sick on rollercoasters.

Ok, here's the deal. Friday we were at Animal Kingdom. While there we saw this girl/lady constantly walking around Expedition Everest with Disney film crew following her around. She looks familiar to me, but I can not put a name with the face. Anyone wanna help me out here?!

We saw her too but I don't know that it was a Disney film crew with her. Lots of people do photo shoots in Disney. My DH is a videographer (camera operater) and has done numerous shoots in Disney & Universal. The 2 places we saw her she was being photographed in backdrops that were non specific to Disney. In other words if you need to do a photo shoot & you want a jungle background or Asian background without actual traveling to the jungle or Asia for that matter.... where better to shoot? That's just my take on it. Not that she couldn't be doing something for Disney but she may not have been, ya know?

I think she kinda looks like Amanda Avila (former American Idol contestant). If you want to see some pics of Amanda, google her name on Google's image section :)

Well, when we saw her she was standing near EE but it was a just a background of leaves, etc... The second time we saw her she was standing right where the background would have been the mountain for Everest. I sure wish I could figure this out.

She looks very familiar to me. We see a lot of local actors and the various agencies and auditions. She looks very much like a woman I saw at an audition for a Disney thing a few months ago.

Could it be her, without the tree makeup?

Ironically, I think anewvance you have her name in your post. I was just watching Comcast Digital Cable On Demand. There is a travel option on there with a few Disney segments. There is a VERY attractive woman on there named Melissa walking through the parks. She does a kind of vacation planning video there. I think this is her.

Yes, that is her. We were just watching last night.

She looks like Christy Romano from the Disney Channel's Even Stevens show to me (also the voice for Kim Possible?)

In the interest of DIS research, I watched the Comcast on Demand Disney planning videos and I think she is definately "Melissa" from the video titled "Princess on a Budget". The only park she goes to in that is MK, so the picture the OP posted must be from another video.
Going back to watch the other videos..........

Back with a report. She's not in the "Disney's 50th" video or the "Free Vacation DVD" one. Back after I watch the "Disney's Top 7". I know she's not the main host of that, but I thought I remembered her from some of the "commercials" in it. ...
nope, didn't see her there.
