Can you modify a Bounceback offer?

Well we just got back from the POly on 8/31/08. Under our door 2 days before we left was a bounceback offer which we could not refuse. So we booked for 5 nights next August at AKL with free dining.

My question is, after talking it over with my DH we now may want to change it up a little and possibly split stay between AKL and POFQ, stay longer from 5to seven nights, etc. Will they allow you to do that and can I still get the Free Dining?

I have had success changing a future stay booked with the Bounceback offer. Why not give it a try? It probably depends on availability at the time of your stay.

I changed dates after booking last year's bounceback. I don't see why it should be a problem unless there are no more offerings for the dates/resorts you want.

As long as its available you can modify it however you want. Keep in mind with a split stay you still need at least a one day base ticket on both reservations

I don't think you'll be able to do a split stay.

A split stay requires 2 reservations, and I don't know if they'd get hung up creating a new reservation when you're not on property.

Last year, we took advantage of the free dining bounceback offer. We were able to add days and switch resorts on this offer.

The one thing we could not do was manage to make it a split stay. I tried several times but each time was told that the free dining would only apply to the first half of the stay. They would have to make the second half of the stay a new reservation and could not link the free dining to that stay.

After talking it over with DH, we are only going to extend our stay and maybe switch resorts. This time since this is an adults only trip and we just love staying at AKL, but you never know.

When you get the bounceback offer under your resort door it makes yo want to take advantage of the offer and its hard to plan the next trip while your still enjoying the one your on.
