Hi,

I'm planning our trip with what park we will visit each day, and with each one am figuring out which table service to book (mostly for dinner to rest for a bit after a long day). I'm a bit stressed about it as I've heard some are hard to get into to (two on our list are CRT and BOG) and we're not too flexible as we won't have park hopper.

Question #1...how smart is the ADR system? Can you book two different places for the same night (e.g. lets say your first choice doesn't have the time you want, so you book it...and then also make an ADR at another restaurant for second choice)

Question #2 - Let's say you book a restaurant but they only have a late time. If down the road, an earlier time opens up, can you book it? or do you have to chance cancelling the first reservation and then booking the second?

When you start to make a second reservation, if it's too close to the first, the system will tell you that the first reservation will be cancelled if you make the second. If the times are far enough apart, it might not. You'll have to try it and see what happens.

As the pp mentioned, you can not do it if the times are too close together - I think it might be w/in 2 hours of each other. Besides that, it is really not right to take up two hard to get ADR slots. Not flaming, just giving you my opinion. All the TS restaurants have cc guarantees now, so you would have to remember to cancel it on time or be charged the fee.

CRT is definitely not as hard to get as BOG, and not as hard to get as it used to be. Make BOG your priority, try for that one as soon as you sign on at 6am, and make it for a day later in your trip. Then do CRT after that.

Great...thanks for the the tip. Am hoping for CRT for dinner second night and BOG near end of trip so will try for BOG first.

Just last week I went through this. If they're at or near the same time, the system will give you a prompt asking if you would like cancel your other reservation. If you say yes, there is another prompt that says your old reservation will not be canceled until your new reservation is confirmed. :thumbsup2

Thank you all. Would only try to book 2 ADRs if couldn't get in to our first choice or time wasn't right...obviously not ideal or fair to others that are trying to get in.

Can you make two reservations at the same time if your party wants to split up. We are a group of 4 going in Aug. and 2 want to go to Canada and 2 want to go some where else that night.
