Can You Help

I just KNOW some one can help here!! My two sons want to buy Play Station 2 games in Orlando when we go in two weeks. Are they compatible with U.K. P.S.2's? Thanks all who reply

I THINK but may be wrong that playstations in the UK work on a PAL platform and in America they work on NTSC or something.If the playstation has not been modified to work with these games you may have a problem.My advise would be to consult a local computer game shop before you go, somewhere like "Game" would be able to confirm

No PS2's arent compatible for use over here!!!

The only thing that is ,are the gameboy advance and SP games!.

We asked whilst out there in May, to be honest they arent much cheaper anyway so you arent missing anything.

Be warned don't listen to sales assistants over there.

A friend went on holiday to Florida a couple of years ago & wqas assured by the assistants that the games she bought for her DD Nintendo 64 were compatable, & when she got home they weren't.

She lost quite a bit of money.
