Can you help with a school project?

I saw a similar thread with the same project last week - hopefully I can prevail upon the goodness of the DIS to help out with another project.

My niece's 4th grade class is collecting postcards from all over the United States for their Social Studies/Geography class. If you could send along a postcard from your area, and write a little about climate, terrain, local industry (produce, etc.), the class would be MOST appreciative.

I'm not sure if there's any kind of contest involved, but I do know how thrilled she'd be to see postcards waiting for her at school!

Yes, the whole premise of the assignment (which I didn't mention before, and should have) is to give the class "snapshots" of different parts of our beautiful country, with some information about each state/city.
