Can you help me with my wedding morning schedule??

Okay, here's the deal. We're getting married at SBP at 2:30pm on this Monday. I'm working on an itinerary and need help. DF is staying in a separate room with his best man. They're easy. They just need to be ready by 1:15pm for the limo to pick them up at 1:30pm.

As for us girls... staying with me is Christie (MOH), Jenna (bridesmaid), and Beth (good friend).

So all four of us need to take showers. Then Jenna is doing our hair (Me, Christie and herself... Beth is doing her own.)

I have Carolyn Allens coming out at 10:30 am to press my dress and steam my veil.

I also have Beaute Speciale coming out at 10:30 am to do just make-up for Me, Christie and Jenna.

So, how do I time this. Jenna want to do my hair before my make-up and make sure we have enough time. So I'm thinking (guessing that she should start my hair at 9:30am. Then when Beaute Speciale arrives, I'll have them start with Christie's makeup. Then Jenna will have to be ready for them (by 11am) so she can get her make up done. Then I'll have my make up done last (11:30am) and have about an hour before I need to climb into my dress?? What time should I dress if the limo is coming back for us at 1:45 - 1:50??? When is Jenna going to get her own hair and Christie's hair done?


I'm feeling kinda challenged. Can anyone help me out?? Thanx!

You'll probably want to take some photos, even if they're just happy snaps before the limo cimes so be dressed at least half an hour to 45 minutes before. Depending on how complicated and time consuming the hairstyles are, could she do Christie's at 9 and then hers whilst you are having your make up done and then have hers done instead of you going last? It is best to have it done before the make up in my experience.
If not then she can simply make a start on hers and Christies while you are having your hair done and then do her own.

Oh yeah! I forgot to say that Randy said he'll be there around 1:30 to take a couple of pictures before the limo comes back to get us. AND my mom is coming to the room too (can we say crowded and overwhelming.) I guess I'll talk the situation over with Jenna again tomorrow. My hair is more complicated, but she said she's going to do loose curls for her and Christie... Well, my fatal flaw is that I don't have one person to do both hair and make-up. Trying to save money = timing disaster!

Veronica from Beaute Speciale told me they like to do the brides make up last... so I was kinda going off of that.

I think the reason for that is probably for the climactic feeling, butshe probably isn't usually doing the make up of a group where one of them is running round trying to do everyone's hair AND her own! You shouldn't have a problem in the long run. Everything will work out.

9:30 - Bride's Hair
10:30 - Jenna's Hair during Christie's Makeup
11:00 - Jenna's Makeup
11:30 - Christie's Hair during Bride's makeup
12:30 - Dresses
1:30 - Randy Pics

It sounds good on paper! With that schedule you have two hours between the start of your makeup and to get dressed before Randy arrives.

But like Girldreamer 02, I haven't gone through this yet so I'm not really sure if it will work in reality.

Here's another option, if she needs more than 1 hour for your hair...

9:30 - Bride's Hair (1.5 hr)
10:30 - Christie's Makeup
11:00 - Jenna's Makeup
11:30 - Bride's Makeup during Christie's Hair (30 - 45 min)

that one looks best to me. it's going to take her a little while to do your make up. oh, i'd add eating in there EARLY. since your wedding starts at 2:30, your going to have to have something in your stomach...where are you staying?

I'm still eating my standard breakfast (piece of high fiber fruit like and apple or a pear and a yougurt) but the rest of the days have just been getting away from me. I was up at 4am... couldn't sleep. Got out of bed and headed to the gym at 6am. Then back home for my breakfast and a shower, and now I'm back at the computer lab to finish up this one last assignment. eeeeek! Okay, I gotta get off dis board, lolol. I'll post up in my PJ later... But thanks for everyones help!

Oh and did you all see the MI is supposed to get hit with a horrible snow storm tomorrow!!!

No problem... Good luck. I can't wait to read your TR and see pics! If you can, you should try to slow down and take care of yourself. We're lucky part of Caryn's TR didn't include fainting or ambulances... I don't want to read about that in your TR either!! Mind you, I say this now, 3 months before my wedding and last night I didn't fall asleep until 3 AM and then I had a nightmare that I woke up on the day of my wedding and half of my hair had fallen out and the rest had turned white! So I know it's hard, but you have to take care of yourself and try not to stress.

Oh yeah. We're leaving tomorrow! Bright and early at 9:10 am. Our ride is picking us up at 6:15am. They're predicting light snow from midnight to 7am with heavier snow from 7-9am. They're saying we're going to get between 5-10" with some areas getting up to a foot. I don't think our flights are going to get cancelled, but everyone is going to be delayed for sure. Two of my friends and my sister and niece are all supposed to be flying out tomorrow afternoon!
