Hello!!! I need your help, all your information is really valuable, yo guys are really Disney Veterans. Well I am going with my husband for the first time as a couple to Disney. We have gonde before but with our respective families. We are newlyweds!!! ( our wedding was in June), and this is our 2nd honeymoon, a Fun, exciting!!! with Mickey!!! Do you have any tip or information of anything special that we can do for fun, besides visiting all the parks, we are doing that!!! Maybe an attraction, a restaurant, a place... You tell me!!!!!
Thanks!!!
When are you going and where are you staying? That will give us some ideas. For example, if you're going in October, you might want to check out Mickey's Not So Scary Hallowe'en Party. There are other seasonal events throughout the year. Also, your resort may have some special things that you might want to try. The theming of the resort might give us an idea of what you would like.
We are goin the in Dec. 17-26 (2004!!!!). We are staying in an all star, so budget wise we can spend the money entretainment, thats where I need help!!! Something romantic, or exciting!!!! Thanks

I would have to suggest Dinner at California Grill....very romantic atmosphere and La Nouba at Downtown Disney. Both of these provide a great and amazing time and are not to be missed.
Thanks!! I will try and get tickets to La Nouba, we already hace MVCP, and also will love to do the carrige ride ( do you have more information on that).
DH and I also had our "2nd honeymoon" at WDW about 6 months into our marriage. We ate at the flying fish and then walked on the boardwalk , rented a surry, and then strolled over to Epcot for Illumiations. We still do this during every trip (to get a break from the kids). We love it. It is relaxing, romantic and we look forward to our tradition now.
I think yours, CathyC, sounds dreamy and awesome - I think I'll try that one sometime soon. thanks for the tip and thanks all of you to this thread.
A few we've done:
1. On our one year anniversary we made reservations for Victoria and Alberts.
It was a wonderful time! Then we strolled between GF and Poly.
2. Another year we attended La Nouba, Cirque de Soleil. Quite a show! Then leisurely walked thru PI and DD and had dinner at Portobello's Yacht Club.
3. Another year we considered a boat rental for Illuminations, instead we bought annual passes to Universal! It was a blast.
As I'm writing I realize we do a lot of walking (must be a Disney thing).
4. This year we're thinking of doing the Segway Tour in the a.m. followed by a romatic evening dinner...
GOOD LUCK to all of your plans ladies and gents.
Visit Pleasure Island at night and go to the clubs that you like, they have dancing, country, comedy etc. At twelve midnight they have fireworks so be sure to go outside at twelve and watch the fireworks before you head back to the Al Star. Its a great way to spend the evening. Another nice spot is Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk. You ask one of the two dueling piano players to play your song and soon everyone is singing and having a great time. Its a blast for adults
Congrats on getting married from a fellow newlywed (I got married in March)! I think eating dinner at California Grill is romantic. We ate one time in the room off to the side that kind of faces WL. Another romantic thing is hanging out and strolling on the beach at the Poly. Just being in Disney is romantic to us. Have fun!

My husband and I will be there the 17th-23rd too! This is our 2nd wedding anniversary trip. MVMCP will be fabulous. My suggestions are not to plan too much. Allow yourselves to enjoy the trip instead of wearing yourselves out. Take time to see the big hotels...the main hotels, like Grand Floridian, Animal Kingdom, Boardwalk, etc. have awesome Christmas decorations. They even have life size carousels made of chocalate and life size gingerbread house that is a store selling gingerbread. Just amazing stuff to see. Make some priority seatings for nice restaurants. There are lots of things to do to make it special, just choose the right things for you.
