I know there are lots of threads on the Dis regarding strollers. I have looked through many of them, but was hoping just posting my own question would get me answers a little quicker...

I am looking for a stroller for our little guy that reclines, has a breathable back and a canopy that offers a lot of coverage. Am I just in dreamland :cloud9:, or is there a lightweight stroller that offers all of the above?

If you have any suggestions, they are appreciated! Thanks!

What about this one? http://www.target.com/gp/detail.htm...NM=|B003BJXQJ4&CPNG=baby&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001

Have you checked out the Baby Jogger City Mini (or Micro)?

I've never seen a better sun cover. Folding is a breeze. I don't know about a breathable back but my DS2 has never complained.

Baby Jogger City Mini ROCKS. I'm not sure what you mean by breathable back, though. This one doesnt have a mesh seat, but it has a fabulous sunshade and recline. also easy one handed folding and lightweight. I love my City Mini!

Zooper Twist - recline, extra large canopy, ventable, comes with rain cover, umbrella fold, parent cup holder, lots of pockets and storage, tall handles,

definitely the Baby Jogger City mini. The fold is 1 hand-- soo easy. check out the video clip at their web site. It does have a flat recline too -- actually at any position you like btwn sitting up and flat. the back of the seat- well actually the top-- is mesh--when the seat is reclined the part of the stroller at the top of your child's head is mesh. I love this feature. It helps keep ds cooler in the summer. There is a solid material that can come down and cover the mesh. The sun shade is soo awesome== such good complete coverage too. Steering is soo easy- can turn on a dime.

the difference btwn the micro and mini is that the mini only has a few reclines -- not as many as the city mini. Also the sun shade is much smaller too. I would get the city mini not the micro.

Definitely the parent tray by baby jogger. It is such a lifesaver. It has a little cooler section. When we are out and about I put frozen juice boxes in and it keeps it cool.

for transportation the wheels pop over very easily too.

I am currently looking for the city mini double. I have the single which I absolutely love!! We are a foster family for newborns being placed for adoption. I picked up a peg perego twin aria on Craigslist and absolutely hate it. Now trying to find a BJCM double on CL too.

I own a mac techno xt also but the BJCM is what I use all the time now.

hope this helps.

Another Baby Jogger Citi Mini fan here. My youngest is so fair she's almost translucent and the canopy covers her completely. I get a little weepy when talking about how easy it is to fold. I have a double and I just yank two straps on the seats and it folds in half. The double also fits through standard doorways, which makes taking it to the mall, doctors, etc. really nice. And oh yeah I can steer one handed.

I am a Baby Jogger City Mini fan too! It is the absolute best! I only wish they were around with my first. It has the most coverage and my DS 4 still loves to ride in it. Although we dont use it much anymore. Only when we go to the zoo or amusement parks that there will be alot of walking.
Totally worth the cost.

I loved the city mini so much that I had the double and then the single.....Awesome stroller. My boys are 3 and 5 now, so we are moving out ofour stroller days, so I am down to a quest and a volo for long day trips, beach trips, and travelling. Like my macs, but LOVED my minis!

another fan of the citi mini!!!! I have the double mini for my twins, and I LOVE IT!!! best stroller I've evered own, (now it does have a few flaws but the pros out weight ANY of the cons)...... it is the easiest stroller I have ever pushed, can literally push it with one finger if I needed too!

Sounds like the BJCM meets all your requirements. We have one and love it-and I got it because of the recommendations here. One hand fold, sunshade coverage like no other and very tall handle too! Its a great stroller:cool1:

We just got the Baby Jogger Micro Double and LOVE it, so I'm sure the single is excellent, too.!!! I was so glad I asked opinions here first. My kids didn't need the extra recline positions. I got it on sale, which makes it even better!

I have a full size BJ and love it. The mini hadn't come out yet. I am a huge fan of BJ.

The BJMicro looks great, too. I love the colors! But, it looks like the sun shade isn't as good as the Mini. That's the only thing that might deter me from the Micro.

Earlier you may have read another post my me, it was actually a post from my wife using my sign-on, but I would have to agree with her on this.

The Zooper-Twist is a great stroller. It does have all that she mentioned, but she did fail to mention a couple of other things. The stroller folds up into a rather nice small package, so if you are taking Disney transportation it's pretty easy going there.

I am 6'1" and my wife is 5'4"(ish).We had an issue with handles on other stroller either being to short for me or to tall for her. The Zooper seemed to fit both of us rather well. I didn't have to slouch over to push it and she didn't have to stand on her tip-toes in order to push it either.

This stroller rolls very easily over all types of terrain. As you have know Disney has all types of terrain, so this stroller handled all rather nicely.

The only drawback I would have is the price. It seems we paid around $200 for the stroller, brand new. I had trouble giving up that kind of money for a stroller and I'm not sure I would do it again. But it has lasted us 2 Disney trips and several other walks.

To give it a rating
:banana::banana::banana::banana:
out of five bananas, only because of the price.

Thanks
Keith

Wow! Thanks so much for all your generous, helpful replies! :grouphug: I've looked at lots of reviews on stroller websites, but its nice to hear from others who know exactly what we need it for! DH and I will be researching the options in these replies to see what will work for us. We go every year, sometimes twice so we figure it is worth it now to spend the $ on one that will last us a while.

Now if only I could get September to hurry up and get here! :woohoo:

We have the baby jogger Summit XC for DD who is about to turn 3. We wanted the larger wheels because I use it to run/walk in 5k races as well. It's expensive, but well worth it IMO.
