can you hear the music?

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can hear the music during Wishes from the cruise. We went on the Illuminations cruise before and could hear the music fine. This time around we are leaving from the Polynesian for the fireworks cruise. Thanks

We went on a wishes cruise with drumflower on 2/11 and the music was piped onto our boat!!! It was wonderful!!

did that - as well as searching these boards- May hours aren't up yet at the dis site. I'm just trying to get an idea as to what time they usually start. Anyone?

We did the cruise in August and the music was definitely not piped in. You could hear it faintly in the distance, but not recognize the words. It may have something to do with which way the wind is blowing. We loved the cruise (beautiful summer night with friends) but the Wishes experience is much, much better from inside the parks.

The Wishes show is a story, choreographed too music. When you can't hear the story it takes away from the experience. I also did the Illuminations cruise, and that was awesome....You are actually in EPCOT, immersed in the experience. Much different than the Wishes cruise.

I think that I remember reading that the music was piped in on the grand gatherings cruise?
