Can you have shirts made somewhere?

I do not have a good printer and am not creative at all. Is there a way for me to take the designs made from this site somewhere to have the t-shirts made or order them online through a company? I read the help threads but only saw how to print iron ons, did I miss something?

problem is that businesses will not touch any design with a Disney character on it b'c of copyright laws. As an individual, it's my understanding that you can use it for your own use but cannot profit from it. So that limits your ability to get someone else to do it for you. However, you could check out zazzle.com; not sure what they do but some folks have talked about using them on this board.

another option would be to ask a friend to print it out on their printer (bring it to them on a jump drive or send it to them via email). I'd use this option.

also, look for the thread that I started awhile back on how to do transfers on shirts - wording starts with "20 steps"; thread by heartbeeps. It would walk you through it step-by-step if you decide to do it yourself.

Please rest assure, that if I can do a shirt...anyone can:) Try one, and see what you think...if you have doubts, like the previous person said, email the design to a friend and have then run it off..between the 2 of you, you will be surprised at how easy they are:) Good luck

Thank you ladies so much for taking the time to help me, one more question, do I need to purchase special colored printer ink? I have a Lexmark X1240 printer and I am going to buy the transfer paper recommended from Hobby Lobby and really step out of my comfort zone and try them myself.

just use the regular color ink that your printer takes. Do read the directions carefully as to the setting for your printer (i.e., put it on "normal" or "best").

I used HP transfers (buy 2, get 1 free from their web site w/free next-day shipping) so I can't say too much about the transfer instructions you'll get. Just follow them to the letter. And if the instructions differ from what my thread says, always default to your instructions!

good luck! and here's the link to the 20 steps thread:

can i go to staples and have these printed off in a iron on sheet? I don't ahve a printer that works now.

I haven't been able to get Zazzle to do my DIS designs, but I have had no problem with CafePress.

Is there a such thing as transfers for color laser jet printers? I only saw ink jet at the store today. TIA
