Can you guess my baby's gender?

Hmmm, not sure about the whole meat thing. I have 1 girl and 3 boys and am vegetarian! :rotfl2:

I'd say that the only certain thing is that you're having a baby. Very unlikely that it's a puppy or a kitten. ;)

I am sick all day long. I have been suffering from HORRIBLE "morning" sickness. Hope this helps... :flower:

GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My OB told me that the reason for prolonged morning sickness is the overabundance of female hormones in your system. No clue if that is true or not BUT I have 2 girls and I was sick as a dog with both of them for most of each pregnancy. :)

I think........boy. :groom: For no reason at all. :sunny:

And I grew up near Los Gatos...went to Los Gatos Christian Church for many, many years. :flower:

I was sickest with my middle child and he was a boy. But was ok with my first and he was a boy. Felt pretty great with the third and she was a girl. Hard to say!

Im gonna say BOY, I had 2 pregnancies and both are girls and I had no morning sickness or craved anything with either of them

I had a boy and a girl and never experienced morning sickness or craved anything with either. I never had to go the bathroom excessively with either, and I never really got sore in the upper part of my torso (I think everyone knows where I'm talking about).

I had none of the traditional symptoms with either of my kids.

I did instinctively know what the gender of both was. I might have been a little further along than the OP is right now by the time I sensed what I was having though.

One thing I will say, if you swell up like a balloon during your pregnancy, you're having a boy. I've never seen a woman gain that much weight while carrying a girl. Many can carry a boy without that type of weight gain though, so make no assumptions if you gain the regular 30 pounds. If you top out at like 60 pounds, I'd say there is a REALLY great chance it's a boy.

One of each....do twins run in your family?

Try the Chinese calendar out....My dd just had her second baby and it was accurate both times....Several of her neighbors were also preg at the time and also tried it and low and behold....it was right on with all of them....
I have 2 girls and 1 boy....I was horribly sick all day, for months with the girls and barely quesy with the boy.....Same with my dd....she was sick until about 5 months with the girl and felt great with the boy....
Will you have a sonogram....they are pretty accurate.

Well the chinese chart was not right for me either way either time with the first two. With dd#1 I really thought she was a boy. With dd#2 I had no feeling at all. Both pregnancies were identical, I was sick all the way through with both. If you're 16 weeks and still sick I'm going to bet it's a girl! :wizard:

My third pregnancy is different totally so far so we are thinking boy, but we'll have to wait another 8 weeks to find out for sure!

Good luck and congratulations!

I have seen different versions of that Chinese gender chart and some were right for my daughter and others said she'd be a boy. I was horribly sick 24 hours a day for 18 weeks with my daughter so based on that I'd say girl, but I thought my daughter would be a boy so I'm not the best psychic! I just found out I'm having #2 last night and I checked those charts posted and both said boy. I've got a long time to find out though!

The Chinese gender charts said I was having a boy. Nope, I had a girl. I just knew from the very beginning I was having a girl and I did. I had no morning sickness though...so if I was going by my own personal experiences I would say you are having a boy since you have been so sick but honestly there is no way for me to actually know. Everyone's experience is different.

Regardless of the gender...congratulations!!!

ETA: I just clicked on the chinese conception chart links that were posted on this thread and both of those were right and predicted girl. The ones I used while preg. said boy. I guess there are different versions of it so who knows?

This is a bit of a long shot, but I will say...puppy!

Seriously, I have never been right, but I am feeling "boy" on this one.

Good luck either way!

I've never seen a woman gain that much weight while carrying a girl.
LOL, My 98 lb sister gained 90 pounds with her first daughter. (no that is not a typo...NINETY pounds!) She lost the weight right away too, it was weird. They actually sent her to a nutritionist twice during the pregnancy because she was gaining so much. She actuallly gained 12-15 lbs 3 months in a row (5, 6 and 7th months). She did not have gestational diabetes or any issues...even at the end. My sister just ate like a pig when she was pregnant. She actually looked like a completely different person. With her other DDs, she gained more normally.

As to the OP...there is no good way to predict gender without an ultrasound and/or amnio. Every rule mentioned on this thread pretty much was wrong with me. The Chinese birth chart was wrong on 2 out of my 3. I had 3 entirely different pregnancies so I really should have had 3 different sexed children (I have 2 girls and a boy). The needle on a string was wrong for me...the Drano test was right 2 times out of 3. The weight gain thing, the craving thing...all wrong with me at least with one of mine.

Even my intuition, which was right with my first 2 pregnancies, was totally wrong with the third...I was completely convinced my little Hayley was a Benjamin, LOL. Bottom line, there just is no way to know without actually looking.

That said, you are definitely having a boy. I can just tell...;)
